What colour is your car mate?

I think matt black on 'works' on the whole car, even then Im not too sure if it is great. The 3M vinyl is brilliant stuff and looks great, also gives a little more interest than matt, especially if you are doing the bonnet!

Gaz who did you get the £200 quote from as that is really good!?

got an APM quote a fortnight ago for vinyl carbon for 109.

they've got a white cup in their online gallery with the carbon effect and it looks the nuts.

Ktec's carbon bonnet is about £400

Streamline Carbons' bonnet is £900 iirc

As I have said in another thread, I would spray a laquer over the vinyl once it is applied - makes it a high gloss finish just like the real thing!

You could also layer a clear gloss vinyl over the carbon vinyl to make it glossy
