182 track car or R26 track car

I've built a fantastic little 182 full track car , but fancy doing the same with an R26 cage etc but I also own a Clio 197 am I wasting my time and money with the R26 idea anyone else have a full on R26 track car ? Sorry if this has been covered before Andy
