Caps? If you mean centre caps they're the standard renault ones I had painted black by the same guy who did my wheels.

I've got Eibach pro's on mine, perfect drop in my eyes. But best of all it handles even better!

Thought it was about time I updated this thread, I've finally got my eibach's on. If anyone is thinking about getting these I say do it! Work really well with cup dampers, give a subtle drop that looks so much better than standard. Handling is now even better :D Decided to get the cup...

I remember Adam Rayner, He also worked for max power magazine in the late 90's. Seem to remember he was in some of their old videos too! Which I think I still have somewhere ;/ Oh and great looking show! Keep meaning to get my Meguairs G220 out and give my RB 197 a going over.

Thanks Kirsty, looks so good! Really giving me something to think about. Can't wait to get the eibachs on now, even if it only drops 10mm I'll be happy. But looking at your pics it seems a perfect drop in my eyes :).

I had a mini poll with my mates, and they all said the same. Keep them white! I just don't think my cars 'hard enough' to pull them off? Although I agree it would look the nuts with a cup spoiler too..hmmmm!

Agreed, I've recently picked up a set of white speedlines. Was thinking of leaving them but have decided to go satin/matt black. Unless your going low and loud then you can pull it off..aka cup racer style. :thumbup1:

Thought it was about time I put up a little progress thread for my car :). I've had the car for almost a year and absolutely love it! It's a 57 plate cup in racing blue complete with recaros :D Things started slow, the first few months were taken up tidying the car up and just enjoying it...

Thanks for the help guys. The ones I got were listed as espace too..bit of a bargain. They've not turned up yet, stupid royal mail! Sounds like it should be easy to figure out what needs trimming when I get them :).

I've managed to pick up a set of R26.R fog light blanks. Does anybody know what I need to do to fit these to a 197? Read a bit of modding is required? Hope someone can help. Wayne
