I've had a strange feeling from the back of my car for a few weeks, seemed to start suddenly one day. When going around corners and hitting a bump mid corner the rear feels like it's stepping sideways a tiny bit regardless or speed, never used to feel like this.
Also, over the last few days...
I've got standard discs and DS2500 at the moment but every time I go on track the DS2500 overheat and put uneven deposits on my discs which I just can't deal with!
I'm happy with this set up on the road though so am thinking about getting some race pads which I can swap out for trackdays...
Some of you will know, I've been thinking about selling up and moving on. Real motivation is that the 197 isn't an ideal everyday car, I'm a bit tired of it on the commute and I really fancy some more power. I was pretty much set on an e46 M3 as they're great cars, had a good test drive...
Does anyone have experience of these? I've just come back from a test drive in one and wow, what a car!
The way it really pushes you back in your seat even at relatively low revs is great after the lack of torque in the 197, the way it rides over bumps in the road is so well controlled...
Went to get the 197 tracked on friday at AMD Essex as it was feeling a bit wobbly over bumps and wandering a little.
AMD told me they couldn't do the tracking as the passenger side tie rod was knackered. But, I know with the perfo-hub that there is another drop link style connection between...
Spotted at about 6:30pm yesterday, you went past me in the average cameras and followed you until dartford.
Black 200 with club sticker in the rear window and few other stickers on it!
Anyone have any experience of these?
Looking at the later 313bhp cars they can be had for ~10k on low ish miles, pretty much same mpg as the clio but more powerful, rear wheel drive, comfortable, reliable..... just wondering what the handlings like?
Just wow, stunning car! Sounds like a proper sports car too, would love to have one of these

Anyone have any experience of the mk5 R32s? They seem like a logical step from the clio which to be honest is a little harsh for most of the driving I do.
These are reasonably priced now (~£12k for a reasonable one), servicing doesn't sound too bad, insurance isn't too bad (£970 compared to...
After my trackday at bedford yesterday my 2-piece KTEC discs (made by hi-spec) have uneven deposits and now vibrate when braking.
I know the reason is probably due to not cooling them enough before coming into the pits after using them very heavily. The DS2500 pads were smoking in the pits...
