LY200 - too loud or blow up again, taking bets!

Fingers crossed that this gets it sorted, I don't know of a single project that deserves a happy ending as much as this! Stick with it! I'm convinced it will all be worth it in the end! Best of luck!

LY200 - too loud or blow up again, taking bets!

I have to agree, if you planned on regularly tracking it and stripping it out perhaps a boggo 370 and spend the difference on mods would be a better option. If it was occasional track work then a Nismo is all fun and feels a little special (I know its a Datsun) Needs an exhaust though as is too...

I am absolutely gutted for you, that's the last thing I wanted to hear. Heartbreaking. On a coincidental note, I sold the Megane...

So... where is the update? I can't believe how excited I've become waiting for someone else to get their engine mapped! Been following this build for such a long time with all it's ups and downs, here's hoping for a good result!

    Pulled a blinder

Just to echo this, I fitted 20mm spacers all round on my Clio 200 and I felt like the front end lost a great deal of it's sharpness, didn't feel as pointy and keen to change direction. It also followed cambers and tram-lined more. Looked fantastic but I purchased the Clio for how it goes.

More than a month with no updates?! I'm not sure I can handle any more emotional roller coasters! Hope it's progressing well.

LY200 - too loud or blow up again, taking bets!

Awesome news Rich, I had been wondering how things were progressing after the expected dates had come and gone. Very glad it's all back on track, ITB's look fantastic, can't wait to hear them.

    The alcohol thread

Cheddar Valley! That stuff is lethal, looks like red diesel in a glass. I can't remember some brilliant nights drinking that stuff!

I think the RS31 may be too sharp edged (really not sure how to describe my reaction) Looking at the RZ39 now, it may have the advantage of looking slightly more dished as the curve of the spokes starts on the flatter face of the pcd. But i think i prefer the spokes on the RZ10. Hmmm... Fuck...

Another vote for the RZ10 from me, although a quick look on the website the KL13 look good too. Not sure what the lettering equates to.
