Took the Clio out at a TrackScotland day yesterday at Knockhill. Last time I was out in the Clio was last November, changed the exhaust and suspension since then so was good to get it out and see what it was like.

I went to all the effort of getting top mounts for my car but I hadn't fully realised - with the anti rotation link the shock and top mount doesn't really rotate anyway - the hub does. So whats the point in having top mounts? Standard ones will probably do the job.

How come some cars have a black section on the door beside the window and some are body coloured? For the cars with the black section can this be removed?

I need to replace both of these on each side. Do I need to get them from renault or standard nut/bolt will be fine?
