Not yet, the really annoying thing is I changed the belt last night and listened for the alternator whine but not the wuh wuh wuh sound! Probably best if I pull it off again this weekend, luckily its an easy job

Hmm, interesting, anyone else have any more info on this? I thought the only thing controlling the VVT was the dephaser pulley?

I will get a video up tonight, the noise may be fairly rythmic yes although its more "wuh..wuh......wuh.wuh.wuh...wuh..wuh". Haha I feel stupid typing that! If you could remember what valve that is I am prepared to try anything at this point!

Hello all, Firstly this forum has been great so far and I have made good use of the How To section including replacing my own manifold a few weeks ago. That was fun! However even though I am an ex agricultural tech this noise is stumping me! Anyway I am having some issue with a mystery noise...

Looking to get my steering rack and a few other bits replaced on my 197 F1. I live in Gloucester, any decent places near to me? I know of BTM in Birmingham but that's over an hour away and would prefer closer! thanks alex

Well mount is installed but the vibration is quite significant right now, really hoping it calms down a bit. I am very pleased with how the car drives now though. Feels more stable, gear changes are smother and easier! My mount was quite bad so it's made a huge difference to the car

Fortunately I was working for a Renault dealership at the time so that helped keep the cost of the aero down. The brake service is a must! I feel like the rear brakes were barely working before as could be seen by a good bit of surface rust, that's all disappeared now as well as no more sticking!

Was doing a little reading on the forum last night and discovered the thread regarding the loose MAP sensor issue. As my car suffers from the kangarooing quite badly I rushed outside to find the sensor looser than I could believe! Couple of cable ties later and kangarooing is gone!! Also feels...
