Cool thanks, is it easy enough to DIY swap it out?

Torque Arm is visibly slack, thinking of just swapping out bushes for powerflex in the first instance or is the arm itself known to be weak?

Gearbox was re-conditioned by main dealer in June 2015... (usual 3rd & 4th grind). Not going through main dealer, using an independent because of the hassle I had with Renault. Will have to pass this on to garage and see what they say.

Garage are struggling to source a diff. Needs to be original to comply with warranty. Any one have a link to a genuine parts supplier who may be able to help? Think main dealer will only supply diff and box as one?

Im on standard diff but have the exact same as you are describing, getting different advice wherever I go, ranging from: - You are basically driving a bomb waiting to explode to - Some diffs are noisy and cheap, others aren't, why are you bothered?

Afternoon, Getting a definite click from the diff when I lift off, it's covered by warranty whatever happens, but is this a common issue? Had it up on a ramp and turning either wheel causes a grating / click in the diff. Cheers

So Renault main dealer charge the same per-hour as a junior / mid level solicitor....interesting.

Just been sent a video by the garage of the radiator absolutely gushing coolant everywhere. (Seems odd as the system would be drained in seconds rather than the 2+ weeks it took for it to be lost on me...). Also been told its £495 for a new radiator and fitting?! It should be covered under AA...

Thanks for all the ideas, if main dealer draws a blank I will pass them a checklist based on this thread. My main concern is that something has been manhandled / ****ted whilst they were changing the timing belt and general servicing.

Cheers for the advice, gone in to main dealer as work have just told me i've got breakdown warranty cover with the AA.

Just been out to check on it after being stood still for a couple of hours and there is now a definite drip coming from the underside, cant see where from though, and the coolant has dropped (not by much but definitely dropped).

Evening, Had the engine overheating warning flash up on the way home, pulled over and coolant completely empty! Couldn't spot any leaks but got AA out for a second opinion, they re-filled and pressure tested the system with no loss of pressure (when hot or cold) at all and no obvious leaks...

Clutch and Gearbox came out under warranty. New clutch kit in under warranty. Apparently a seal had failed at the back of the engine causing oil when warm and thin to run on to the flywhweel. All in all cost me £40 quid (seal + flywheel bolts) and hopefully solved the problem. Pretty sure...

Mine did the exact same (everything working bar locking the door with the handle button), changed the battery in the fob and it resolved the problem (this is over 6 months ago now so hopefully not just a fluke).

Just spoke to Aaron, its a genuine part. Looks like its a day off work and a trip down the M6

It would be the same distance for me, but they clearly look like the guys to deal with this. Do you know if it is a part they have commissioned / machined themselves or is it the genuine Renault joint that they have managed to source on its own away from the hub?
