'Stretching' sound when turning right slowly

If it's bottom ball joint Aaron's autos in Derby are about as cheap as your going to find to do it, they replace just the joint. I traveled 2 hrs to them, took them a morning to do and I think it was £175 90% of places will change the whole hub because that's all renault will supply them with...

    Squeal noise

Right, on my 200, usually on first start up I am getting a high pitched squealing noise. It happened a few months ago, then happened again today, turn the car off and back on and it stops. I was thinking belts like most people will say it is, but! When you turn the engine off it squeals for 5+...

    Wrapping Front Badge

It's not bolted if you want to risk breaking the clips, I managed to do mine without taking the bumper off, I just put my arm behind the bumper and undid the bolts to take off the whole mount

    Dipstick pop out

Crankcase pressure causes it usually I think, I would be checking - Check oil level, make sure it's not over full Check engine breathers are clear

    Offside Lower Pin and Bearing

Glad to hear your getting it sorted! They did it no hassle on my 200, in under the time they said, couldn't recommend them more. A Toyota main dealer had the car for 3 days when the other side was done under warranty:D

Strange noise from engine video inside

I had a similar noise and it was a chunk missing out of the ribs on the aux belt, might be worth whipping that off and having a look but mine did it when it was cold as well

    Offside Lower Pin and Bearing

£450 is pretty good from a garage, depending how close you are, (I traveled 2 hours) Aaron's autos in Derby do them and just replace the joint for £175 inc vat, took them a moring to do it

    Noticed a crunch

I would have said that's a fairly good reason they got rid of it! As said change the oil, doubt it will make a difference but I would do that first. Prices to be fair I have never had to have any of mine fixed, although I almost bought one that had had a referb and he said it cost him £800, not...

Quick question - MOT failure. Front springs broken.

If they are fitting genuine springs, aren't cup ones about £120 a piece so that's £240 so £200 to fit them, If it was me (I was in this situation about a year ago) I would get some aftermarket ones, I got cooksports. and get all 4 replaced

    Joe's UR Clio 197.

Not much has happened with the 197, got a k'tec cat back fitted, thinking of some more modifications at some point. One thing that has happened is my miss' has got a GW 200 -

    Cool spring failure, replacement options/worries

Mine snapped a front spring, it's the 3rd one that I know of according to the history I have. I decided even Renault ones weren't up to much so bought a set of cooksports to see how last

    Two new lower ball joints

From what I was told it was to do with Renault not selling just the joint, hence having to buy a new hub and being charged £500 a side, depending on the garage they may do just the joint and not the hub. i know when/if mine go I will only be doing the joint. Anyway you have 12 months to get it...
