Owned a 197 for a week now and I've just notice that only the drivers side headlight washer is working. I just topped up the washer bottle thinking it might be a bit low but it hasn't solved it. Has anyone else had this problem? Many thanks :thumbup:

Hi guys im after a pair off exhaust tips for my 197, can anyone supply me with a link too some tips that they have used? I've been searching through ebay but unsure on which will fit and look good... Thanks :thumbsup:

just going too go for it mate, if the box does decide too eat itself I suppose s**t happens and I'll get it replaced. Need too own one off these cars !

Good of to hear that some cars with slightly higher millage are still on the original box...

I guess it's just a case off you only hear about the people having problems and never about the peoples gearboxes that are completely fine...

Yer I agree with you mate... as said above, a warranty would be a good idea...

Its surprising how much the lifespan off the boxes can vary...

Looks like I'm just going too have too take a risk lol I'd look at alternatives but I don't think anything compares to the clio 197/200...

Right, I am in the position now too buy my dream car (clio 197/200). However after reading up about them, the whole gearbox issue is really putting me off... Is it really as wide spread as it's made out too be? Is there any high millage clio 197/200's out there running on the original box...
