R20 BTG - 200 Cup Track Car Blog

Just a heads up, my AC rad looked the same as yours. Did a track day at Snett in the summer and the coolant temps were through the roof as the fudged AC rad was blocking a lot of air from getting through to the rad, ruined my day as i could only do 3-4 laps at full tilt. For the sake of the cost...

    AP racing brake kit

It wasn’t your fault, their discs are basic road discs and not meant for track days. The hats and brackets are fine but disc wise you’ve made the right choice in switching to AP’s

    AP racing brake kit

Incorrect, the Reyland kit is £675 plus postage and comes with Reyland rotors not AP Racing rotors. Reyland rotors are made from pagid blanks so are not a motorsport grade rotor

    AP racing brake kit

I think your maths is slightly off. Calipers are £621.99 each - £1,243.98 for the pair + Vat (AP Motorsport prices are all ex vat) £1,492 Rotors are genuine AP Racing rotors - Rallynuts have them for £288 each - £576 Already your at £2068 without custom made brackets, fixing hardware and the...

    Lewis's RB Clio 197

@lewishunter98 Looking great mate, im about to do the AC delete on mine using the 172 pulley from Rene. Do you need to cambelt cover bit from Rentune as well or is that just for the cup racer delete kit?

Yiannis' Albi Blue R27 - Toning down...

Good job you caught that in time. Going back to rotors, have you looked at Hi-Spec rotors? The are £125 each in 330mm x 28mm and available in many PCD's. I'm using them on my 312mm 2 piece kit and think they are great, could be worth looking at. https://www.hispecmotorsport.co.uk/hispecrotor.html

    ARB droplinks

I haven't fitted them yet :disappointed: Weather has been too cold and wet

    ARB droplinks

Incorrect, OEM links are 280mm. When you lower the car you'll actually need a longer drop link so the 245mm-305mm ones are the ones you want. I went with the JOM ones not because the cost but they will go to 320mm. As i'm quite low on coilovers i thought the Superpro ones would run out of...

    ARB droplinks

All of AP's prices are +Vat btw, looks cheap but they are actually £138 shipped

    ARB droplinks

I've bought a set of these for mine as i'm quite low on Gaz coilovers. I'm yet to fit them as the weather has been terrible but i think the idea is the adjust them when the car is on all 4 wheels so that they slot in to the arb really easily, this would give you Zero pre load. If you want to add...

Alien Green 200 Cup *** New AG 200 (number 3) from page 85***

A friend of mine runs 225/45/17 AD08R on Ultraleggeras lowered on V3’s without issue

Alien Green 200 Cup *** New AG 200 (number 3) from page 85***

If your sticking with a spring and OE damper setup I would probably sway towards a 225/45/17 AD08R then. Fully road legal and a great all round tyre

Alien Green 200 Cup *** New AG 200 (number 3) from page 85***

I would go with some Dunlop DZ03g's. I had some Cup2's on my 220 Trophy 18 months ago and killed them in 1 day around Donington Park. What suspension will you be going with? PS nice wheels

    Stud and Nut conversion

Just nip the studs up, then do the wheels up to usual spec. Don’t undo the wheels for a few hours but best leaving over night to let the loctite set
