    Heater Resistor 197

    Could to with checking my motor. How would I connect power to it directly? From the red and black wires coming off the heater resistor and where would you get the power from to test with? Sorry to drag up an old thread

    Blowers not working

    Still not got round to sorting this. Was tempted to change the resistor but the noise the motor makes when it works suggests it's the heater motor. Sometimes if you hit a pothole it will work briefly but while it does it sounds like the motor is really struggling/there's something stuck in it...

    Ever since I brought the car the blowers have only worked on number 3, now it only works on number 3 intermittently and it sounds like something is stuck in the fan also like the fan isn't working at full pace and sometimes very slowly. Guessing this is the heater motor, anyone recommend anyone...

    Roads arnt half slippy at the moment, last night hit a huge island and just started going sideways, used to love it in my BMW but in the Clio it was a arse clenching moment!

    I get it all the time, they love doing it to vans too. A nice 3.5t Merc Sprinter! (Home shopping delivery van so they aint the low ones either!) A few near miss's most weeks!

    Welcome, saw you a few weeks ago at a set of traffic lights, it was either Notts or Mansfield (I think but I go over the whole Midlands so could be anywhere!). (I was in an Ocado van lol!)
