    EVANS Halshaw MIDDLESBROUGH

It took three attempts to get the paintwork sorted. To cut a long story short. I was threatened with the Police due to my behaviour at the dealership. All because they tried to cut corners. Never would I ever set foot in that dealership again.

My Pearl White Gordini #814 from the other 'Perth'

Seen a couple of White ones in the UK. Never seen one in Pearl White. Only seen Pearl White on a standard 200 and not on a Gordini. Think you can get a Gordini in Black too.

    Spoiler recall

Yeah I know the guys at my local body shop. They did some work on my LY R26 a few years ago and it was spot on so I've got a lot of faith in them. They talk through the process with me so am happy with that.

    Spoiler recall

Had mine in today and they have caused further damage trying to get the glue off. Paint has been scratched off in a couple of places. The manager did own up and said they will put it right. What a carry on? They can't even glue a spoiler on properly! He said it was a specialist job and should...

    Spoiler recall

Mine went in yesterday, picked it up and what a mess! The glue they use is Black. It was smudged all over the inside of the tailgate and the excess had squeezed out on to the edge making it visible from the roof shut line. Why can they never get it right? Absolute clowns.. So obvious on a Yellow...

Advice Required 197 lack of power

My mate had his 200 at RS tuning for a remap as it was running rough. He'd bought it a few weeks earlier with only 2000 miles on the clock. It made 148 bhp. The guy said that whoever owned it before had probably been putting cheap fuel in it.

    Loving the 220 !

Sorry but I beg do differ about changing gears. For a start you have to mess around pressing a silly switch which cannot decide if it wants to go in sport/race or whatever. The switch is in a stupid place, by the time you've selected the mode you want the opposition have long gone. The whole...

    Loving the 220 !

It's not just about screaming engines. It's the handling, direct steering, nimble performance, being able to change direction quickly, loads of grip and a manual gearbox. These too are things that in my mind make an old school hot hatch. The VXR does scream and significantly pulls well towards...

    Loving the 220 !

Have you drove a new VXR Chris? Funny how everybody slates it (not that I expect praise on a Clio forum) but I bet nobody on here has ever drove one? I have both a 2015 Clio and Corsa. So as I see it I'm in a good position to judge. However my opinion may differ from others. To make a fair...

    Loving the 220 !

Maybe it's my age? I love old school hot hatches with their bone shaking, adrenaline flowing experience. It must be a mid life crisis I'm having.

    Loving the 220 !

You'll be shocked! I'm not saying it's perfect but I've had a 197/200/R26 and my wife has a 200t which I drive frequently. I would say the Corsa is just as capable as all hot hatches I've had. It does have a diff and bigger brakes which does enhance the drive though I must admit. Forget the...

    Loving the 220 !

I'll compare my Corsa VXR (new shape) with my wives 200t to make it fair as they are both modern hot hatches. VXR feels modern, well built and is fun to drive. It's like an updated 197/200 with a turbo. For me, this is how the mk4 Clio should have been. I still stand by what I've said before...

    Loving the 220 !

It is a good car and very quick in race mode. It is very well put together and better built than the previous Clio. However it doesn't give you the raw experience of a true hot hatch like the mk3. Even with a manual gearbox I'm still not convinced it would be as much fun as the old 197/200?

    New 200t

Yeah we've been mates for getting on for 25 years. Both big RS fans. Went to the national meet last year in his R, here's a pic of it.

    New 200t

I always wanted a Burg in Green but couldn't face the slaughtering. Anyway I gave in to temptation and bought one of the new shape ones and am very pleased with it. You're right about the Megane. Values will increase over the next few years especially yours with that spec and of course the rare...
