Thanks for the reply antnee ,managed to get one from halfords but doesn't fit. Full user guide is on CD and MacBooks packed up. They only provide a 'quick' user guide in hard copy form. Will try it at graft tomorrow and see what else I can get.

Evening, Finally opened the wallet and bought a new head unit begrudgingly due to peeling and tatty OEM unit. Nothing fancy but mechless & Bluetooth alpine HU which keeps it as OEM as possible. Sourced a Meg facia which should allow for a nice fit. However my poor technical info stops at...

Not sure it really helps, but I had a set of Koni adjustable dampers on my old BG182. Huge help with the sportline springs. Couldn't comment on ride with 197/200 though.

I would imagine its real leather - so as long as its looked after, then it should last a lifetime of the car.
