T1R's are good tyres, superb in the dry. In the wet though they completely change. They are nothing like as good as the contis. . EDIT - The tyre you have on now are rubbish.

Are you sure? Gloss black is the black on the diffuser / mirrors / nose. The black of the wheels is Satin so I would assume the caps would follow the same?

Yes I would get a 197 if I was you. Parts are not easily removed and tbh I wish they were. My last 197 caught the fancy of someone who wanted the door badges. They don't just slide off and so the sod took a screwdrive to it to wrench them off and busted all the clips on the door strip.
