Wow, your camera takes really good photos! Must have cost a few hundred quid for one that good?
I joke of course :D must be hard giving back such nice kit!
Same F40 as this shot? http://500px.com/photo/54555150
Knuckles had been dropping hints for a while that he wanted some snaps of his car so last Saturday at Oulton I took the opportunity to grab these.

Well 4 months later I totally retract what I said about them not being twice as good as a 200. They definitely are!
It took me a year to do my first 3000 miles in the 200, I've done the same in 3 months with the RS. I'm still going out for no reason other than to drive the car and I've never...
Haha! That's my old car. Sold it in May but still have the plate.
Where was the original photo from? I took loads and I'm trying to figure out what the original background was?
Well, the best car I've ever had (prior to yesterday) is up for sale because I've just bought the best car I've ever had.
Only done 80 miles or so in it but here are some first thoughts:

Cheers guys!
The sheet acts as a diffuser, so it turns the very harsh directional light from the flashes into much softer, more spread out light. Kind of like a huge lampshade.
It's two Canon Speedlite Flashes with built in radio control receivers, and a transmitter attached to the camera.
Spent most of Saturday on the car and by the time I was done it was dark and cold so took photos in the garage with some new lighting gear:
Normally they do interior shots like this in a studio to get the light, but you can DIY it with a couple of flashes and a white sheet...
What's your method for ONR? I've used microfibre towels and grout sponges but I'm still not convinced it's not damaging the car.
I've kind of accepted that even if it's not as good as two buckets and a proper mitt the time and water saved means if the car's not too dirty it's the best way to go.
I'm using Adobe Lightroom 4, but you can get the same with Photoshop CS6 as it uses the same RAW convertor.
Can you upload the original .CR2 file somewhere? I can have a play around and see what I can do if you like?
Following on from my Autumn thread, on the way home I stopped off at a location I'd got some nice shots at before. Just the right time of day when the light was perfect.
My apologies if you're sick of seeing this car. I'll shoot someone else's soon!
Hope you don't mind but I had a quick play about
Before:
After:
It looks a bit grainy in places because I've edited the JPG, if you do this with the RAW file you can get much more out of it.
White cars plus sky and ground are a bad combination as the camera has difficulty...
