its actually lifetime/ 100,000 warranty! it was a big deciding factor for me iirc you buy second hand with a 60k 3 year warranty, if the car has low miles and purchased from a dealer then the 100,000 mile warranty may still be available (ie ex demos)

when VX announced they were actually making 1000 Nurburgring corsas and the extra 500 were "out of their control"

i was at a track day at thruxton earlier this year and on was there! it was very impressive, looked alot of fun! didnt look out of place on the track either

I suppose i do not! I have commented on one specific part of the cars performance that was brought up in this thread. you said "constant slagging of it" really? there are many others who are in agreement. people who have driven dozens of them! im happy for you if you cannot feel it. yours must...

constant slagging it?:blink: it has lag! its extremely noticeable. So noticeable even the top guys in VX were saying keep it high in the revs to make the most of it. make a video in 3rd gear tomorrow. accelerate from 2000rpm.

must be, just had a quick google and most of the reviews agree! even the head sheds at vx agree!

i drove a number of them. Even Stu Harris commented how laggy it is. it needs reved and not until its held at high revs is on song. IIRC up to 3500-4000 rpm it had no pull!

its 100k. obviously T&Cs apply but it completely covers all the typical problems the corsa suffers

i bought brand new! didnt pay that price though. Lifetime warranty made the decision between new and second hand

its a standard corsa with lsd, suspension and brakes. Thats what it needs to compete with the clio as it doesn't in standard form

they arnt made to look like vents, i believe they are there for pedestrian safety. Not sure how they function but ive seen it mentioned a number of times

mordern turbos no lag? tell a new Astra GTC VXR owner that! as im sure anyone else that has driven it will agree its laggy as hell. cant beat NA throttle control but a turbo is a nice day to day drive

they dont go anywhere, they are blanked off inside. Not sure what the fuss is though lol, the corsa is angled and agressive. the bumper would look plan without these. The clio is smooth and squat, they would look out of place on the clio burg by randomgary, on Flickr IMG_3006 by randomgary...
