Love donnington and it’s my local track (30mins away) had there not been so much to do at work and only one of me I’d have had the day off :worried:

Craner curves is a great set of corners!! Love the drop all the way down to the old hair pin!!

McLean’s blind right is good fun! Jumps on you rapidly... you almost turn in too late if you go when you see it!

Did they tell you about turning into craner... make sure you can see the buffet in the restaurant before you hammer it right!
Shame you couldn’t join in. Next time mate eh?
Trying to keep it floored all the way down the hill is not easy lol. Takes balls that

Yeah late as possible at the end of the straight before banging it right. Always fighting the temptation to turn in

Really good to hear you had such a good time Ben, and that you're enjoying the car so much! Photos are awesome too!
Thanks Jimmy. Yes I’m enjoying the car again mate thanks.

I think a lot of it’s to do with the trackdays and the get togethers that keep me interested.
Made some good friends through owning a Renaultsport and being attached to this forum. Hope to make some more in the future.

btw GLWS bud. Someone’s going to get a beauty.

Great stuff, I'm glad you are mate. I know you were considering selling at one point, so it's good you're keeping her - it's clear that you have so much love for her, especially with all the changes you're making.

They are cars that demand that constant interest and attention, and the forum is really good for that. Good on you for tracking it so regularly as well - it's one thing I never was ever brave enough to do! There are some truly awesome people on here, and that number seems to grow all the time. It's a fantastic community.

Thank you very much Ben, I really appreciate that. Slow going at the moment, but it's only been just over a week.

Been quiet of late. Just replenishing the Clio funds after some serious outlay.

Have just booked Spa with Opentrack November 8th. Looking forward to going back. Rain sports may well be needed at last!!

Might look into changing front fogs for some sort of brake cooling ducts before I go. Other than that she’s ready to roll

Rainsports? Best bring a snow shovel

Update:
Managed to purchase a meg275 fuel rail which I’m having fitted next week. Feeds fuel from the centre of the rail rather than the end thus in theory helping to avoid fuel starvation to piston 1 on fast corners. Preventative measure really. But I also think it’s a cool mod regardless:grinning:

Having second thoughts about Spa trip in November (cost, time off, weather etc). Doing Donington end of October which may well be the last TD of the year. Will see

Thanks for looking
