The vehicle tuners in Warrington

Hello has anybody used these guys in Warrington for a remap ? There relatively new but seem to get good reviews on Facebook. Only asking because I only live 10 mins away and they have some very good prices https://www.the-vehicle-tuner.co.uk/

When they put claims in like this on their website it does beg to wonder what they thinking!

Personally I wouldn’t risk it.. the only main benefits of a map on these is for smoothing the flat spot

Yeah was thinking the same really. It’s the flatspot I’m after sorting I think I’ll probably pay the bit extra and go to efi in Runcorn. Cheers anyhoo !!!!

They have the original power wrong in the first place! 197 PS, 194 hp on an engine dyno. I would estimate from an established mapper 8-10bhp increase max on a standard car, smooth the flat spot and sort the kangarooing when cold issue. Im in the same boat, I live in Devon so the usual recommended mappers (RStuning, EFI or Engine Dynamics) are all literally hours away.

you can be a guinea pig and let us all know how they achieved their claimed figures if you are brave enough..
not saying they cant map but the figures are just unreal...we all know it..

actually i was thinking of doing just that, Don't know if i have the bottle to though. I personally don't really care much about out and out HP its more about smoothness and drivability. Ill let you know what i decide
