My RS('S)

I like it with the cover on, looks oem.

What injectors Nick? If you haven't already might be worth getting some 630's before mapping?

I'm hoping the exhaust isn't going to be a restriction. But engine's good for loads of torque.

I'm going to either make a tank or get a smaller battery.

dont fit your 630 injectors till mapping..wont run well...may damage your internals by pumping too much fuel in...

Don't worry they won't be fitted till I get to RST

I'll be going to MRS on route for an oil change & a check over

630's, they've been in the glove box since December ready to go back in

we'll see, if it's to restrictive it'll be coming off , I'll see what paul says

he couldn't get a new tank made in time

You could modify it if you want to keep it? Just need to change the inlet pipe of the t-section into the rear boxes to 3" and then have new pipes made from your de-cat. If you want to keep the Akra and don't mind adjusting it.

Tbh I couldn't, it's to nice a system & worth to much to mod

I thought as much but a scorpion 3" system will set you back around £750? If you can get it with a good discount?

First thing that happened to ours was getting the tips chopped off and some crappy, filthy OEM 197 tips getting welded on.

Sean at Jade Developments totally freaked out when I asked him to do it!

I think I'd go with Pure's 3" if I get 1, I had a scorpion on my 182

Wasn't a fan of the pms one, don't know why. maybe the 2 1/4" rear pipes from the massive rear box?
If I'd seen a scorpion system before I'd bought mine I'd have modified my k-tec but I have it now and a nice system.

Oh you can buy the scorpion without the decat as it's the same as a meg one. But you can't with the pms.

Think I'll see what it makes & go from there

so that's 442 miles done
On the n/a screamer engine I built for my cup, it got a very small amount of miles put on to run it in on the rollers (less than 6!!), then it was straight to balls out 8k rpm......honestly mate, those rings would’ve been run in by the time you’d done 100 miles.

Yeah [emoji106]

On Thursday Mark spoke to the bloke that built it, he said it's all sorted at about 350

Looking forward to how it all goes.

The T15 should sell for good money too, unless your keeping it as a spare.

Was looking at your cars again and your 225 F1 is similar to the one my engine came from.

It wasn't though, Reg was LV06DJE from wolverhampton. But I just bought the engine etc.

TBH that was a good car, it used to hold it's own against a .R26R, it's up there with the best, just a shame I didn't have a diff
