Ken's RS 200 daily/trackday car

so oil is suitable for diffs and quaifes then??may give it a go when the time comes..cheers

You don't need a specific oil for a torsen style diff (like the quaife) in our cars. You might need a different oil when using a plate diff.

ok cheers..will check it out...
i have this inView attachment 114488

Which incidentally is the worst gearbox oil I’ve had in mine I’m sure.

Right after swapping I’ve felt notchiness (Not even a hint of crunching thank god) I’ve never ever had before. Something I never had with the standard Elf oil in 16 months and 8k. And Im really gentle on my box and have had 3 oil changes so far......

So after talking to Northloopcup - I’m going to try some Redline next week.

The Castrol stuff Ken has just used is highly rated by a couple of the track guys I’ve seen here recently. So will be interesting to see how that fares longer term.

**Your mileage might vary. In fact you’ve got an R26 box Pav I think.

Noticed some slack in the steering lately, so it's now in the garage to have it sorted. Not sure yet if I'll need to swap the entire rack or the just the tie rods.

Need to get this thing sorted back to 100% very soon as it needs an MOT next month.
