Clio 197 steady progress

New one came Monday and I put it on. No more rattles. Which is heaven. Also had the decat manifold fitted Thursday and all I can say is it's loud at full chat. Normal driving it's no louder than before. Feel like it might need another map now as I can feel a slight flatspot again. Does anyone know how much a map tweak is at rs tuning?

Not much love been shown to the clio lately. All my times been spent on an mx5 me and my dad bought at the start of last year.

Spent some time supercharging it, putting coilovers on, exhaust. Roll bar, seats and harnesses are coming soon and it’s likely to become the car I do trackdays in rather than the clio.

Made pretty good numbers. Made 20ftlbs extra in the midrange since the last time I had it mapped there

My god mate. They look bloody FANTASTIC!!!

Hope you're thrilled with them, you should be. Much better than matte black, great choice!

@Jminkley get an intercooler on the MX - it made a HUGE difference to my little 1.6 turbo MX. Great little track cars, and upset many a more expensive car. Completely different handling to the Clio - both great in their own way.

It’s gone through a few changes since I put the photos up. Now running an intercooler with standalone me221 ecu. Running a lot better

Managed to wash it a couple of weeks ago for the first time in months [emoji51][emoji51] used some auto finesse glaze then some wax on top of that. Came out quite nice.
