Trackspec Clio 197

Looked at the scorpion and looks like there’s quite a few joints in the system which puts me off a bit but I prefer the downpipe to link pipe design on the scorpion over the PMS. Off the shelf would be quicker and easier than getting a custom one made. Time is a factor for me now too. Has anyone fitted one of the above on a Meg conversion??
I kept my 2.5” scorpion system and it’s great. Scorpion downpipe and custom linkpipe. Made 271bhp so no restriction issues

Want to go for a consistent 3” mate as I’m not keen on a bottleneck within the system. It also means that if I did want to go down the forged route later on I’m future proofed.

3D printed spacer for the boot mounted aerocatches.

Fair point. It’s almost a grand for the Scorpion 3” system which put me off!

A grand?!

Think I'll be keeping my 2.5" if/when mine has its heart and soul ripped out...

custom made may be a bit cheaper..try your local exhaust place

I'll give them a call tomorrow. Theres a place near me who do custom systems in 304 stainless it's getting it there thats the pain at the moment. I've just bought a brand new X3 and it doesn't have a tow bar! More expense!!

Don’t see many cars with custom exhausts. Would be interested to see how much you get quoted

Powerflow used to be a name going back a bit. Don’t know if they’re still going

I have been looking at this myself I’m at the point where I need to decide, I live close to MIJ in walsall and they did a very good job on a friends 325 track car keeping it track friendly. I have already bought a downpipe though as it looked a pig to do whilst the engine is in ‍♂️

The company I’m calling are a dealer of Powerflow. There’s also Longlife just up the road in Birmingham.

Small update. Called the local shop today and I'm going to take it down to them to have a full custom system made. I've also purchased a 3" downpipe and link pipe and they will work back from that.
