Power expectations from near standard 197 set up

What sort of power/torque figures would be achievable with a remap of a pretty standard 197 set up.
No engine mods, induction kit and miltek cat back

Point taken suppose it's the marketing blurb with numbers any idea how much they lose through the transmission it's wheel power that I am interested in trying to guesstimate potential power to weight to look at potential for racing mine next year with no serious power mods.
Would need a minimum of 135 BHP per tonne but Power is wheel horse power and weight is car plus driver plus fuel.

My ex silver 197 gave 185bhp , 100% standard.
My ex 200 gordini with only akrapovic evo exhaust gave 199.9bhp in same dyno.

They never make 200bhp. More like around 185-190bhp. My previous Clio (197) made 197bhp after a remap at RS Tuning.

That was what I meant. Usual for a car to be below the quoted power so with a few supporting mods and a remap 200bhp is realistic. Most people just remap to smooth out the flat spot.

Will speak to Duncan have known him for years. Would also be interested to know if there are any Renault specific specialists.

Don't know of any Renault specialist in Scotland with rolling roads. I know Dunc is big in the Jap scene.

You also don't need a rolling road the car is far better being live mapped on the road.

Several years ago my 197, which is still on the site somewhere got 199hp with a milltek catback, ITG panel filter and remap

If I could get 180/ 182 bhp at the wheels that would just about work for rhe lowest power class.
