Which exchanges have people used then for transfer “coins”
It depends on what cryptocurrency you want to purchase. Omisego isn't listed by all the exchanges, so I purchased some Ethereum from Bittylicious (or you could use Coinbase as @jamesgw200 does) , sent it to Bitfinex where I traded it for Omisego, then sent the Omisego tokens to MyEtherWallet. You could leave the currency you buy in the exchange, but if something should happen, such as the exchange getting "hacked" all your money is gone.

Thanks I’ll have a look in depth when I’m home

cant help but feel that old saying that "if something is true good to be true"....the returns just seem unsustainable

just to put it into context, my 350 quid investment into litecoin last weekend is now worth 730. Not bad in 3 days. Its a gamble, but start low and hopefully it goes up. Bitcoin isnt worth it imo. its too high now, i think 1 coin is 12k. Litecoin is 120 for one.

Been a strong day today, I suspect a correction may be on the horizon, but not until Friday I reckon.

We will have to see!

Also worth noting that moving your coins to a wallet from an exchange is highly recommended.

Anyone buy some Omisego? Gone from $7.7 to $16.4, so just over double. Hoping it falls again so I can buy some more in the new year!

I got a little education in this yesterday - still don't really understand it all, sort of like buying nothing lol.

Just recently bought in myself. Currently using Coinbase and grabbed £500 in BTC, £150 in LTC and £100 in ETH (£750 weekly limit). Leaving things as they are for now and keeping an eye out for any crashes in ETH and LTC at which point I plan to throw a little more in and then branch out to some Alt coins on Bittrex or somewhere. No plans to do any selling for a decent while, in for 6 months+ is the plan and see how things are panning out. Only observation so far is Coinbase fee's - should've read more into GDAX etc. before jumping in but nevermind. The way things have gone over the last few days, I'm already "making money".

I have £400 invested right now from the last week.

Have just under 2 LTC and 83 XRP. Will try and increase this week once payday has been.

Litecoin I think will hit over £300 a coin this week!

I really want to get onto this! Is now a good time to buy and what app (apple App Store) is best to use there’s loads out there

Coinbase is probably the easiest if you're new to this, app is really easy to use, verification may take time though.

I'd say buying at least 1 litecoin is a solid bet, these will most likely hit £300 by the end of this week and we will maybe see growth to £400 over new year. Could hit £1k next year, but who knows!

My advice is to read up on reddit etc so you understand how it all works, it's could all go wrong so don't gamble more than you are happy to lose.

I just found out that bitcoin is 17.000$ each.
I am so happy i sold my bitcoins 80$ each some years ago... yepyep.

they go up in value due to demand i believe. more people buy the more demand which means a higher price.
