Help!! Code 2075

Hi guys! I’ve purchased a 197 a couple months back, had a cracked manifold so replaced that with the decat mani. It had the check injectors light on the dash I thought this would be down to the old manifold but it’s still on and also the cars in limp mode? Struggling to reach 3k revs etc. I had the diagnostics machine on it and it gave me code of P2075. It’s also got a cone filter coming off a silicone hose. Is there a maf sensor on the standard intake? The mechanic with the diagnostics machine seemed certain it was down to there being no maf sensor and also the decat.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I still don't see a paid member status come on man join in unless you want us to fix and wash your car for free. Its simple your picture has not enough showing you need to look at my picture with the blue arrow if that part is not there and plugged in the car knows its missing hence the error code but unlikely to bring on limp mode a Renault clip is the best diagnostic tool you still could have a bad injector or lambda but might only show up when limp mode starts a cheap diagnostic tool just does not look deep enough. Example I had with the 172 limp mode problems random normally wet days driving low revs low speeds I thought it was water related but the Renault clip said the second lambda heater element was faulty which was throwing the readings out bringing on limp and emission light.

Cheers for that, yeah sorry didn’t mean to offend or that by not being a member. I’ll do that right now. Yeah I’m by no means a mechanic but i guess i’ll Have to find someone near me with a clip. Thanks again for the info and keep your eyes peeled on this post as no doubt i’ll Have some more issues with it!

Also that picture you put up, where about is that within the engine bag? Roughly

It's not a problem we all want to help but sometimes it takes so long to get the full picture of what the car has or has not got or modified there is sometimes no point answering and others think they can get parts for free to fix them and they are not even members.

Well I don't know what to say if you can't figure it out see the rod that the blue arrow is over the top of, that holds the bonnet up and the flat plastic bit is the battery yours should have a cover on it and it doesn't. Now you have access to the How To section to fix things and take stuff apart good man for signing up it's the right thing to do and will pay in the long run.

Looking for a bit of info regarding standard throttle body? Should the butterfly valve inside be free? Going to replace it. Think this might be causing the issues. Would the throttle body off my 182 work for the time being? Cheers

The throttle body flap should be tight, its spring loaded. I am pretty sure the 182 throttle body is the same part. Often people dont mess with it unless they are enlarging it, this involes taking the flap out and re-winding the spring. Often this isn't wound on enough and can cause running issues.
