06 nimbus 197 daily track toy

Looking good Carl.:thumb:

How much weight did you save by removing seats and putting in 2 buckets? Any idea?

looks great Carl..i particularly like the photo with the Javelin stickers...i always wondered what to do with mine??well guess what?ended up in a bin..
Ben,there is a thread or threads about removing the rear seats etc but really cant remember either..i believe the rear bench is about 20kgs

Selling your house to fund more mods Carl?!
not quite lol dad wants a bigger place so i don't use so much of his drive modding lol right so the decision is made i am keeping the federals on and getting a set of Rainsport 3s Ive had these on a previous motor and loved them so for now ill have my Federals as summer / track wheels and the uniroyals as winter/ wet wheels ive also noticed ive almost run out of passenger side rear wheel so will get some new federals for next season to.

Right got the wheel on and not overly happy with it.. I think a retrim might be in order. 20171123_102539.jpg

It will stay for the meantime untill I do get one re trimmed and I will get a horn for it to.

I don't know what it is I am going to see if I can get used to the visual look of the plastic behind lol

That’s what it is Carl. The wheel looks great but not with a huge chunk of Dieppe’s finest plastic on show!

I'm sticking with it for a little while to see if I change my mind whalst it's on also looking into getting the cc buttons back I realise if I get a full kit ready for a 197/200 and am not 100% I can sell the whole kit.

Maybe you could use some sort of bracket like those used to retain the cruise control buttons with the sabelt steering wheels? I reckon it would look better too.

Not a massive update but one that now annoys every one I see because I keep using it I have managed to now fit my horn after a couple of weeks.. Honk Honk. 20171130_093252.jpg 20171130_163325.jpg
