I admire your gung-ho attitude to parts breaking Pav that's the attitude I need, but it's not so easy to adopt!

I'd be more inclined to do one at a track that wasn't mega far away, then at least it's not a massive trek if something did hit the fan!

Brake update:

Car was sent up to Chris at Beaniesport yesterday afternoon. Can’t praise Greenflag enough if anyone’s looking for breakdown cover



Turns out something had melted a hole in the servo pipe. Pipe has been replaced already and the heat shielding from the turbo has been adapted slightly. Sorted

Oh and it’s all been done free of charge

i was with green flag 3 years ago..never needed them so cant comment but glad they were so great for you..
i need to speak to Trev to see if my servo is safe..
i love these good news though..very pleased for you it wasnt anything costly..

It’s actually free through my NatWest platinum account so not entirely sure. Must be a pretty high one?!

Fair enough James. I’d pay 20 if I liked it but most of mine are shoddy at best

Cancelled mine with them, wanted £220 off me, Flux gave me the same cover for £56 plus European cover...!

Little bit disappointed, I messaged him straight after he posted on Facebook on Sunday and still had nothing through!

I had cover with my Lloyds bank account a few years back, however when they left me stranded on the side of the M69 with a delaminated tyre and coolant pissing out for 5 hours I quite promptly cancelled...they couldn't give a damn on the phone either..
