Mega pleased for you, Ben. You must be so excited for what it's going to be like post-ED! Hope you can get all the little niggles sorted out as well.

Would have loved to come down to Bedford to see you and all the other lads, but as I've said to @Pav , it's just not an option for me at the moment. I'm sure there'll be other chances

Would’ve been great to catch up with you again Jimmy. Have to wait until Grantham for a natter.
Can’t wait for it to be mapped. Going to be lively I reckon!

Had a short day so spent a couple of hours messing with the car. Cleaned the engine bay a bit. Getting there slowly.
Couple of rusty bits in the Meg block needed a rub down and some silver paint that I had lying around. Never going to be anal clean but I do like it neat and tidy.
Looking forward to a trip back to Beaniesport in the morning. Hopefully get rid of minor niggles. Also gives me a chance to get more miles under my belt and enjoy driving her!!

Have a good weekend

Enjoyed reading your initials thoughts on the conversion mate. Are you still missing those N/A revs now that you have all that low end torque? I have to admit the more I read about the megane conversion, the more sense it makes. No more chocolate gearboxes or having your pants pulled down by diesels. It's starting to seem a lot more appealing than a supercharger conversion in all honesty. Something I never thought I would say!

I’m not missing the revs Davinder. Once mapped I doubt I’ll give them a second thought!! £5k for a charger on my high miler didn’t add up

I think people have their concerns regarding this kind of conversion but as soon as its done, they are gone..
the standard set up is great and if you are doing lots of track days etc,you can start stripping down some weight to make it a real weapon but if you need it for every day commuting, then the turbo way makes sense..more usable power on demand really..

Agree with all of that Pav. Plus I’ll go faster round a track without the need to strip everything out so win-win:thumb:

That sounds promising indeed! I've just hit 70k and I have a feeling that a supercharger conversion would end up costing me a lot more than 5k in the long run. I think a meg conversion is much more realistic for my situation, unless I win the lottery! In that case it'll be supercharger/meg conversions all round for everybody

I totally agree with you Pav, mine is a daily and you really notice the lack of grunt around town. Looks like I better start saving up then!
