Chris's LY 200t.

Shame about the OZs not being able to fit bud, however I do like the look of the Wizards as the alternative. That modding bug bitten you again after the map

Well it’s the ultras that don’t which is a pain... there are some that do, Formulas for example, but I do really like the Sparcos, probably more so than the wizards for me!

think it has never completely left just was on stand by :sunglasses:

Spot on lol!

Sparco wheels look great.

Chris. If it was me, I’d be going with these in race grey, 100%.

Yeah I have seen these mate, thanks for the link. I do like them don't get me wrong, but I'm more leaning towards black, and in the black, they are not too dissimilar to the sparco wheels, which are £400 cheaper...

Secondly, whilst in the pictures they look great, I'm not 100% sure if id want this look on mine.

Ive been saying it for a while, but i do want the gun metal bits on the car to be black, at some stage.

Don't want to dilute Chris's thread. So get some pics up, show us, tell us all about them somewhere !!!
I'll keep pics to a minimum! They were around £440 for the set delivered when I bought them, they were even cheaper before that! Offset is great, although if i'm being honest I am thinking about 5mm spacers on the rear. However I think the majority of people will be happy with an ET45 offset.

They were significantly lighter than the OEM alloys but I personally didn't notice any difference in the way the car drove. I had bought them in Gunmetal Grey however plastidipped them last year in metallic Gold and will get them painted professionally in the future. I'd purchase them again if I were to start over so they get the thumbs up from me!

All good Chris.

That picture looks absolutely STUNNING to me though. Definitely the way I’d go with an LY car. But I’m generally not a fan of black wheels. I think they get too lost and you miss the shape of them. Can’t wait to get rid of my black wheels!

However, with all the bits blacked out as you said, it would look VERY good.

I was REALLY taken with these wheels when I saw them in the flesh. Absolute bargain for the extra looks it gives to the car.

Well they do these in gold, which would look awesome on any other colour than LY I think..

Gold assetto gara

The car pictured is lovely don't get me wrong just think with the wheels it needs to be the rest kept anthracite to match the wheels (blade, side strips etc), or black wheels to match the bits he's colour coded black.. Lovely car though nonetheless!

Tbh with LY, its either black or anthracite, at least on the 200t in my humble opinion

I have seen these in the flesh - if you remember after last years christmas meal when you picked the exhaust up from Pav - and they are very smart on your car, got to admit!

Appreciate the kind words Mes, agreed they're definitely a bargain!

I certainly remember mate, it was the first time I saw a Liquid Yellow Clio in the flesh! I reckon Anthracite would look great, as would white but they'd be a nightmare to keep clean. I'm not sure if you've seen this thread on Cliosport but it may help: https://www.cliosport.net/threads/ly-200-edc-wheel-option-2.810357/

ETA: Just saw this thread with the proper pictures: https://www.cliosport.net/threads/clio-200-edc-on-turinis.812187/

Matte bronze! You know I’m a sucker for that!

Personally, and our car shows it, I don’t think it’s essential that wheels match an accent colour. As long as they look good with your paint, all good.

Ben had no gold bits (at the time) but how good did his car look on those gold speedlines?

But yeah, it’s black grey or silver for you really. Not all bad mate, you do have one of the most showbiz car colours of all time.

A guy I know has an Exige in LY, saw a photo of it parked with a GT3 Porsche that was in some posh Porsche yellow. LY knocked it into a cocked hat!

wouldn't mind seeing that pic if you can dig it up

White looks bloody awesome don't get me wrong, but as Shuv has pointed out, they wouldn't stay white for long, and i detest cleaning wheels as it is (even though I will be applying C5)!
