Yawn.

Boring race mostly, obviously good result for brits and fantastic to see that knob vettel loosing out..

I just dont see the point in a race where you can hardly even overtake... makes it boring viewing, I love to see battles throughout the pack, awesome overtakes and tactics etc...

How many times is Vettel going to be allowed to swerve in front of p2 when he's on pole? He's been doing it for years only this time it's bitten him on the arse. I think he's been watching too many Schumacher videos.
Today shows a marked hole in Vettel's psyche, whereby whenever he's under pressure he does unpredictable and silly things. There was no need to squeeze Verstappen at the start, all he had to do was have a clean first lap and he would have been leaving Singapore leading the championship. Instead he's cost Ferrari the Constructors' title and has helped Hamilton put one hand on the Drivers' title.

Robbed of seeing a good race down to overly defensive driving. A total waste of time, yet another procession of cars.
Luckily in that time I did 2 weeks of ironing and four individual fish pies!
Thankfully I have the BTCC on the planner.

Red Bull will be known as 'Aston Martin Red Bull Racing' from next year - http://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12...ton-martin-to-become-red-bulls-title-partners

The deal also includes Aston martin staff working at Red Bull in a tech tie-up. Looks like RB may be powered by Aston Martin from 2021 with the new engine regs if all goes well.

Interesting stuff. Makes sense, after Adrian Newey worked with them on that supercar project - was maybe only a matter of time... So I'm assuming this means Red Bull will be committing long term to F1, after all the doubts that were swimming around.

I still think they're getting ready for bowing out. They'll still be a title sponsor but I think come 2021 they won't be a "manufacturer" any more. The Porsche buy out rumour was from a pretty solid source. And there's definitely something sneaking around in the shadows...

Wonder how Max and Dan feel about all this upheaval?

Still got everything crossed that Honda build a beast for Torro Rosso and they beat RB. I'd laugh long and hard.

I know they've been considering leaving the sport for some time, so it really wouldn't be a surprise if they did. They've got a lot of fingers in a lot of sporty pies, so they're not short of things to endorse - maybe the fact they're not top of the F1 tree has made them spit their dummy out a bit...

I'm sure Max and Dan are a little concerned at all that is going on, however I think they've both got enough talent to be able to secure a drive elsewhere at a top team - if there will be that many left

Max at Merc and Dan at Ferrari.

The fireworks would be SO good for the fans!

All sounds fun. One slight problem. Do Aston Martin make engines?

They might consider an RB/AM engine if they think the investment is worth it. Or maybe a tie-in with Cosworth or similar. RB have been rumoured to be building their own engines before iirc.
