Driving on the 'right' side of the road.

Just drove for the first time on the right (wrong) side of the road....

Went round a roundabout the wrong way, and had some old bloke yell at me, apart from that it went swimmingly!


Anyone got any funny encounters to share ?

First time I drove in France, I turned left out of a supermarket and went the wrong way down a one way street. Cue lots of angry French drivers flashing their lights and beeping their horns lol

Roundabout the wrong way.....OMG !

You (I) cant go on auto-pilot thats for sure. It takes a little pre-planning and things all need to happen a little slower for me when driving abroad.

No funny encounters yet though. Touch wood..

Well, when I said it look that, it wasn't entirely my fault... it was a very offset roundabout, not one where you approach it dead on. Plus the lines looked like you could go straight on, anywho it still technically was the wrong way lol!

yeah takes some time to adjust but more you have to do it,the easier it gets..

Managed not to do it in France, but drove along the supermarket car park the day after I got back to the UK, on the right hand side of the road. Until I saw someone coming towards me!
