Radio and display dead!

good evening all,
Took the car to a car wash for the external cleansing. After that the car would not start, just clicking noises. Checked fuses and the engine bay but could not find anything wrong. Jump started the car today and after some reprograming of the windows and esp it seems to be ok? Only remaing issue is the that the radio and the display in the middle of the dash is dead. Any ideas?
Maybe it's just time for a new battery, i am recharging the old over night?

Thanks//

Fuse

Yes, thanks for the tip. Removed the radio and display today, disconnected the battery and re-assembled after a few minutes but the still dead. All fuses checked and ok.

Ok, so I checked that there is current to the fuses and there was current to all except a 7,5 amp for heated mirrors which I don't think I have?
Anyway, I have disconnected the display and radio as well as the "amplifier?" under the passenger seat and now disconnected the battery. I going out in 10 minutes to reconnect it all. If that doesn't work, how can I check if the radio and display are toast? The seat belt warning light in the display still works I might add.

Could be due to the water ingress from the scuttle panel shorting summat out? make sure them drainage holes are cleared

Yes, the problem first occurred when I washed it, and it was because of the drainage pipes was clogged. I have now cleaned them and all is well there. I have current to the fuses at least but is there a way to check if the radio and display are toast?

Did you get any further with this issue? I currently have a 197 where the radio works but the display panel and the stalk controls don't. I was wondering if they could be related.
