Uneven braking

I've noticed recently that my 200 wants to pull to the left slightly under heavy braking.
Any thing to look out for? or common issues? It's barely noticable under normal driving, but something i definitely want to get looked at. Discs and pads seem fine, so I'm guessing it's something more caliper related

Lots of possibles as I appreciate you're aware of, but start with simple stuff like tyre pressure, is the front near side down compared to offside?

Broken spring, you may need to jack the car up to unload the suspension to check as when loaded, any break, if near the seat may not be apparent. Broken springs are quite common.

Thereafter, whilst it's up in the air, check for movement in ball joints or linkages. Use a metal bar to put light pressure on linkages. Listen for clicking too.

Usually when I've had a sticking caliper, it's actually braked less, therefore it will sometimes pull to the stronger calliper. So the issue may be with the offside calliper.

simple............give it a brake service..........theres pages & pages of these issues but first is make sure its all checked/cleaned/lubed etc

This! I'd almost be willing to put money it if this haven't been done fairly recently.

I've had the retaining pins and pads out, but nothing more. Are the pistons prone to seizing at all?

not unless its an older car - always best pads out then push pistons back to make sure free - also you need to strip and check the rears as well

if its pulling left only under heavy braking then the right side is probably the issue...

check inside of discs as they are prone to corroding and breaking up

Can vouch for the last bit. Thought my discs were fine until had it on the ramps.

'Insides' were shot to bits and cracking up. Which wasnt visible from just looking on the outside.......

if all seems ok - give them a pressure bleed...

also might be worth removing pads and cleaning/roughing up surface and swapping a pad from each side to see if it sorts the pull
