Anyone have access to HPI information?

Hi folks. Just got home after leaving at 9am.

Went well. Couple of kinks to iron out yet. Just a few things I want sorting but yep, hopefully I'll be in it in a couple of weeks.

No pics. Not tempting fate. It's bloody gorgeous though!!!!!!

So happy for you, can't wait to see it, still a toss up between it and the gen 2 997 for me, saying that a 991.1 gts went passed me yesterday! Have to say I was impressed!

Think the lotus would turn a lot more heads thought! Ummm decisions decisions!, if the wife was a petrolhead it would be the exige but sadly she isn't so it really is a very hard decision for me :-(

Exige would be SOOOOO much cheaper to buy and run mate. That's how to sell it to the Mrs!

But yeah, the levels of comfort and class in the Porsche are way beyond what you'd have in the Lotus. And if she's anything like mine, the extra space for storing half the house when you go on holiday would go down well too!

Great news, Mes, really happy for you that it went well  hopefully everything will go to plan in the next couple of weeks and you can share the pictures with us when you have the keys

I'm with you on no wanting to tempt fate, I think I'd be the same

Thanks Jimmy.

Stage 1 and 2 are done and successful, stage 3 is in progress and hopeful, stage 4 is the scary bit around financials and moving money around! But there is no point stressing about that until it's time. Still fingers crossed at the moment.

Getting closer!

Check out the Evora 400! My chosen choice at weekends usually. 400bhp, sounds epic, rides and handles like nothing else in it's price range. You would have to spend more than double to get the the wow factor to match the Evora.

Agree with this fully. I'd much rather have an Evora over a similarly priced Porsche. The 410 even more so! I think it's absolutely superb. If I could stretch that far it would be a tough choice between the 410 and the 380.

Do you have one or is it a pool car from work? Either way, pics would be nice!

@Cossers test drive time?

@Its all about the Clio GORGEOUS!!! That's how I'd spec one, green, yellow brakes and black wheels. Looks fantastic to my eyes. Shame they changed the colour from MSG to the new metallic green though, the old one was so much better. No doubt the newer one is cheaper!

Although hopefully, Geely are going to put a stop to the constant penny pinching (which I do fully understand and I have to say JMG has done a really good job overall and never lost focus of the core ethos).

Thanks for those mate, love it. And I know it's not a car that photographs particularly well either. They look so much more showbiz in the flesh. Although I think the same of the Exige too!

Look I've a very Deep love for M cars Mes and if I could afford the running costs I'd have one in a heart beat. But the Lotus just dose not float my boat so I'll drive my cheap pile of French crap

Nothing like a pile of crap mate. You know I love them!

And that's cool, we can't all like the same cars. Me and my best mate disagree on everything!
