Recommend me a camera

Hi folks looking for a new digital camera £100-£150
just a point & shoot type of thing
what would you recommend ?
Had a look at pc world,argos etc seen a couple that i like the look off but i know jack about them

Anything with Lumix written on it is usually a winner!

Had a look at the lumix but the cheapest is around £220
what about this sony?

I don't think it would disappoint - all depends what you want from it. I've stopped using cameras as I find the iPhone camera ideal for casual/travel snaps.

like micah says, depends what you want from it.

if video and zoom range is what you're after, then the sony will do. if not, then i think this one is a good deal ...

You can't go wrong with cybershot for compact size and quality. But you are paying a premium for the packaging.

Thanks for the advice guys
Just been to pc world to have a look the only one thats in for my budget is the sony
but my god its small,too small infact i cannot read any of the buttons
staff were too busy stood in a circle talking to themselves to offer help so i walked
going to leave it for a couple of months & buy something bigger but not from pc world

Go into a London Camera Exchange if you can find one locally to you, they're spot on and have decent deals on new and preowned cameras. Never had issues with them, DSLR man myself so couldn't really suggest one from experience.

Bit of a bump but I get all of my photographic kit from WEX Photographic in Norwich. They sell a lot of pre-owned kit and back it all up with 12 months guarantee. The majority of my kit is pre-owned and I've never had an issue.

Their stock constantly changes though so if you see something you like, snap it up fairly quick. I've been in store when they've just listed something, I've seen it on my phone and gone to buy it when it's been bought online by the time I've gotten to the counter!
