Insurance nightmare

I'm also with Highway (LV) but I went through Brentacre, yep they cover all my mods separately too, i've been with them for 5 of my 7 years, they were great with when I got rear ended in my R27, they paid out extra for my exhaust etc.

Brentacre were my other choice. They were about a quid cheaper, but KM insure the FRS so was good to keep both policies with the same company. My other half is a Senior Exec for NFU, so have inside information when it comes to insurance companies. I did get cheaper quotes with other brokers but the insurance companies they use were awful.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with the insurance Pav, that's really the last thing you needed now you've got the car running as you want... Hopefully you can get something sorted.

Oh bloody hell what a nightmare!
I'm with Greenlight and they were really good for me. Same as the other guys as underwritten by LV.

Try Paul at Need to Insure, they do a modified car policy with trackdays included
many thanks..just spoke to Paul..very nice man..will be getting back to me with a quote shortly..
I got insured with Keith Micheals. Mines a meg converted one. 33 years old, 3 points for speeding on a m'way, decent area code, £580. Every mod covered separately. The mods get replaced like for like if it gets damaged. The insurance company is Highway which is part of LV which are highly rated.
The brokers name is jeremy Pocock. Don't email but call him.
thank you..waiting for their call..cheers

That's pretty crap Pav, all these companies seem to have good and bad customer experiences. Not exactly what you need when it needs insuring ASAP!

My 200 is standard but the 182 has had a high boost turbo conversion 182 -> 326hp.
Its worth speaking to Neil at greenlight as he is the clio insurance specialist.

I'd also recommend giving Greenlight another shout Pav, I've been with them for the last two years now and they've always been decent with me. I know they've had mixed reviews on here, however I personally have been happy with them. Good luck with it all mate!

i've spoken to a few specialist insurers and the main reason why they refuse to insure my car is my post code!!
M5 isnt the best area to live if you have a modified car!!
