Brake Squeal

Stripped down my front calipers yesturday to clean them out best I could, remove brake dust and all the grim

Greased the back of pads before putting everything back together hopeing that this would cure the squeal, but no joy :worried: still squealing like a pig!

Any suggestions as to something I can try to rid me of the hellish high pitch squeal? It's driving me nuts every time I touch the brake pedal

What pads are you using? Some of the more track focussed pads like DS1.1 can squeal a bit.

I have DS1.11 and they squeal but not too bad, the EBC Yellows I had on my M3 were horrendous on the rear. Only solution I can think of that would be worth trying is seeing if Brembo do anti rattle shims for the fronts if that's where the squealing is coming from.

I've done that too :tearsofjoy: Although I should say that the adhesive shims did make somewhat of a difference.
