Clio Meg RS320bhp conversion (update Meg Rad)

UPDATE.... I knew what I might be getting into, when I bought the car. It came with torn Recaro, tyres min tread depth, bonnet cable literally hanging by a thread, wheels, cracked, and very badly rewelded, interior filter looks like it had never been changed, scuttle drains blocked, broken thermostat AND limp mode at higher revs, unknown to me at the time.Reading the fault codes, limp mode had been a problem for quite a while, also Battery to boot, and move air filter further forward.Metal intake pipe, has a hole in it. intercooler pipe leaking at joint. Reading Phoenix Motorsport bill, they had put a standard map on it. Fitted new N75 valve, Now all is well, thanks to RST, who found the boost leaks, and put the proper map on it. Having removed the rear seats, fitted harness for track days Worthwhile?.Definitely yes. It now leaps away in any gear. Roll on more track days this year.

Good news Arthur. Glad to hear you're sorting out the issues and enjoying the new improved car

ah okay, cheers for that! Have read in the past it will cause problems but i'm going to use the 250 tb aswell so good to see i'm not the only one

And I thought that car was immaculate when it was for sell, well..this was how it was advertised anyway. But yet again, it was Litchy's car so it doesn't surprise me:oops:

Good stuff that you are enjoying it, these cars with a little bit of attention they don't disappoint:smile:

It was built by SC Autos, 'cowboy' doesn't even begin to describe the guy.

Glad to see it's finally on the road to actually getting finished properly now though :good:
