MotoGP 2017

JUST seen it myself.

35 years old. My goodness.......

God-speed Nicky.

Absolutely crestfallen mate. Other than Vale, my two favourites, Nicky and Marco, have both been taken too soon and in really tragic circumstances.

Rumours circulating he just pulled out into oncoming traffic that he didn't hear coming because he had headphones on.

Either way, i'm devastated.

Anyone stream MotoGP on their phone on a free site ?

In Spain and DESPERATE to watch Valentino at home.....

Got great Wi-Fi - but cant find a stream where I can get past all the pop-ups etc for the life of me :-(

Anyone going to Silverstone this weekend? I have tickets for Club Corner, first time at Silverstone and first MotoGP event. Can't wait!

MotoGP Virgin. Really Col ?

Prepare to be treated to a aural sensation you've never heard the like of before.....

They'll make the Superbijes sound like standard Vespas !!

What a fab proposition. Only the weather can spoil that. Oh...and if you spot any Carbon Fibre badge covers in the paddock

Have fun bud. Would love to see some piccies if you get some too.

I did Silverstone in 13 when Marquez was killing it, it makes for a good weekend of camping if weathers nice... Just a shame lorenzo won that weekend but it was a good battle! :tonguewink:

I found the best place to watch was the inside track near becketts, you can watch them come out of copse, down through becketts and then see them come through back through the loop and storm up towards Brooklands... Luffield is also good for the inside lunge :sunglasses:

Always followed the BSB Shuv but after speaking to a few people who had been to the MotoGP I decided to take the plunge. Weather is looking not too bad so fingers crossed it worth the 6 hour drive.

Great day, great race. Drove down on Saturday (6 hours) and stayed in Northampton Travelodge which was ideal and next to loads of places to eat aswell as a cinema and Sainsbury's and only 20 mins away from the circuit. Having never been to Silverstone before I dragged the family out of bed early and got to the track for 7:30. The circuit is massive and took us a while to find our bearings. Our seats at Club Corner were excellent (we were sat next to an American couple) and had a screen in front of us aswell. I do like Rossi but with 90% of the fans wearing number 46 tshirts I was more inclined to support Dovi. Good points of the day - comparing to BSB events the atmosphere is brilliant, my wife who is not a bike fan was actually caught up in it all, the noise of the MotoGP bikes is something else, loads of places to buy merchandise. Bad points of the day - only 3 races, usual overpriced food and usual mayhem with everyone trying to leave the circuit at the same time. Unfortunately it's not a bank holiday in Scotland so had to get home on Sunday (midnight!) for the Mrs working and my boy at school on Monday morning, or would have stayed for another night. Would I go again. Definitely.

Dovi is the boy this year, not been Silverstone tbh preferred Donington park helps being 40 mins away or so, food prices are shocking cadwell bsb bacon cobs were £5.50 for a small dry bit of bread and bacon with 70%rind racing was great tho
