It is maybe some millimeters thicker, i did order just like oem wheel. I am happy even it is some millimetres thicker.
Price was not bad if i get that exhange charge back, total would be something like 210eur including delivery from uk to finland and from finland to uk.
What i found out, re-trim would cost over 350euros here.
And the reason for that IMO - is that the original leather isnt removed. Jack makes a pattern and goes right over the top of the old stuff with the new covering. Everyone get a thicker wheel back..........
I love your steering wheel Antti! This is exactly how I will get mine when the time comes. at the moment mine is not needing to be refurbished though.I just got back from Germany. This was my 32 time there. Roads in Bayern are so perfect! Just normal driving almost 200kmh in autobahn. :

I got new steering wheel from royalsteeringwheels couple of days ago. I am impressed with quality.
Now i am just hoping my old wheel will find correct address for exhange refund.

Today i have one of my friends helping me.
We will strip parts from left side of the car. (Door handle, side lists from doors, indicator, mirror, rear light). Car will be in paintshop from tuesday to friday. Left rear panel + door will be resprayed. I cant wait results. I have to drive with bicycle or scooter..
It will be interesting, what is results of this repainting. How correctly paintshop can mix ultra red.

Now it is assembled.
Little dusty from paintshop. I have to wait for some days before first wash. Overall i am very happy for paintjob when you think about price for whole project. The colour shade of red is just correct.
New hinge / limiter for left door. Much better.
Some quick pics, tomorrow michelin time.. in these pictures car still have old wheels and tyres.

Just put michelins in the car. Wow. what a tyres. So much better than 10 year old worn continental sport contacts. Absolute no tramlining or any other negative sides. I recommend pilot sport 4..
Now with fresh wheels those front grills look awful. And front calibers need repaint too.. list goes on
