Dale's Glacier White 200 cup

Just for balance....I'm With Dale. Sat in a couple of 200t's at the weekend and I could never live with all the red touches unless perhaps the exterior was red:grinning:

Each to there own though.

To be honest: [Dale - you know i love you brother.....So please take this in the humorous manner its meant] comments from anyone owning a MK3 RS; telling us how bad another cars interior is should be taken with a pinch of salt anyway.
Now.......where did i see my can of red paint ?

You make an excellent point buddy, our MK3 interiors are dreadful!! :poke: :tearsofjoy:

But it's not the quality/looks of the interior I've got an issue with, it's the colour theme.

Forcing red on all interiors make absolutely no sense!!! It's just like forcing everybody to have a green interior theme... yes that might make sense for some car colours but not all. And it's not even subtle, absolutely everything is red, there's too much of it!!

Don't get me wrong I like the colour red in general, but it only really suits black, white or red cars, anything other car colours it just feels... wrong :excited:

Thank you!!! Finally, someone with some sense!!! :good:

Think your in a minority there dale, most people like the interior - myself included, although you have a point of the colours, LY bits would make more sense.

It's a nice cockpit to be in for sure!

I don't have an issue with how the interior looks, I agree it's actually really nice, I just hate the fact that they've forced red into cars which have no business having red interiors, Liquid Yellow being a prime example :tearsofjoy:

It seems 'lazy' to me from Renault, they should have matched the interior theme based off the exterior theme under the logic that, as an example; nobody is going to buy a blue car and then complain that they don't like the fact that the interior theme is also blue!!!

Rant over

Dale, can't believe what I'm reading mate!

That lovely car of yours. You want to give it up for a turbo?!

What's the deal mate, fancy something newer and more grown up?

Agree entirely about the interior red bits but wouldn't break the bank to have all the red bits changed to match the body or to an accent colour of your choice.

I actually really like the Mk3 interior. It's basic and how a hot hatch should be, IMO.

What are the little carbon inserts for? They look great!

See your point  And 'm not saying it should be; or expecting a hot hatch to be toy-filled or sumptuous.

Just using materials in more than one dull-grey colour would have helped 'brighten' the thing up a little !

If the interior had a persona: it would be the most boring accountant you'd ever met...........

Watch this space... :sunglasses:

I love it! Now the question is, do I get a matching inlet manifold badge...??

Also, was taking stuff out the boot earlier and it always makes me smile how awesome the Recaro's look from behind...

Edit: you can see all three of Shuv's group buy items between the last two pictures I've posted :tearsofjoy:

The tank cover looks great! I thought that it might look a bit odd with nothing else CF in the bay (as mine is like that), but it actually goes really well with the black trim! Good work Shuvster!

And yeah, loving the Recaros Dale

Yeah my initial thought was as you say it might look weird with nothing else carbon fibre, but it looks great!

Although I am tempted to get the inlet manifold badge to match
