Micah's Deep Black 200

Noooo! There's nowt wrong with the Clio badge! What's all this badge removal about? (My daily is a Merc cabriolet with badges removed on advice of Merc salesman, but still don't get it!)

I used to sell Mercs and never advised people to do it - they only did when it was like a C180 Kompressor because it was the cheapest of the 'Sport' range! A Merc with no badge is just weird IMO.

Good on you for keeping the badge mate. I like it too. I wanted it straight off when we got it but I've really warmed to it.

Callipers... I'd definitely go classic:

If not, either of those two options would look really good I think. Can't go wrong with a black car.

Got home to discover my delivery from @renaultpartsdirect had arrived. Realised that I don't even need to change the rear discs yet, but if I'm doing a brake overhaul, I may as well get everything done now. The OE rear discs are pretty awesome looking in my opinion.
Also decided on a new manifold gasket IN CASE I go down the Toyo route.
The items were really well packaged, came with about 4 miles of bubble wrap!

Big thanks to Paul, always a pleasure.

Transformation on the stoppers will be huge if doing all at once !

Do 'we' have a calliper colour yet ?

The brakes look great Micah!

On the caliper colour subject, I saw two different cars today with the burnt copper/red Brembo decal scheme....they looked awesome, so they get my vote for your DB!

Try driving with the AC on this days before you fit the pulley and do the same with it installed. And let us know.
