Original exhaust really need to be cut off?

Hey guys

So my new exhaust is arriving today and fancied fitting it myself, question though. Does the original really need to be cut off? That's a bit annoying

Thanks James

As Dave says, that's the only way to get it all off in one. The Scorpion comes with instructions on where to cut, it isn't a big deal to re-attach if the drone starts to kill your hearing :tongueout:

Haha oh I'm sure it'll be fine, it can't be that bad can it? Damn it I'm not ordering another exhaust haha I assume the scorpion obviously goes on without dropping the axle?

Sweet man, I've ordered a decat pipe too. The noise shouldn't be an issue as I had a decat milltek on my 197

I had mine decatted and non-res scorpion... it sounded awesome but the drone was a killer, since switched to a res pipe and it's a lot better

So you've now got a resonated scorpion system with decat ? I've seen a video of that set up on youtube and it sounds bloody brilliant!

Great stuff, thanks for that info. Think that's the exact system i'll go for when I finally get round to changing the exhaust!

Your only down in Barnsley so if you wanna hear it int flesh by all means you can sit in car and go for a spin!
