Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

Tis a fine line you will be treading with the orange detailing, but at least it is gradual and you will know when it starts to get a little too DynoRod, but fair play for making your own mark with it.
This is what I love about this forum, we all get egged on in some way shape or form when someone dares to do something different - I find @Gordini has been massively inspirational to us all (thanks to his bottomless pockets :tongueout: ), and your detailing 'fetish' has inspired me to spruce up my engine bay - I hope the counselling sessions have now helped you get over the pictures I put up!)

Looking forward to the results

Will you remove dash trim or fit decals in situ?

Im just back from the decal makers

Its only going to be 100mm long x 18mm high to cover the original Renault Sport 'logo' on the passenger side as standard.

It will have a black-ground with Orange writing and a 2-3mm wide Orange border around the outside, and rounded corners so my polishing fetish doesn't lift the corners up ! The idea of Black-ground and Orange border - was to make a feature of the decal and make it stand out; rather than try to blend it in - which if the Dark Grey sticker didn't match the dark grey trim EXACTLY would like an abortion.

He's going to make a couple with Satin Black back-ground and a couple with Matte black - to see which i like best.

Sounds great. Inexpensive?

Did you ever consider going the Gordini route with SprayShack?

That was the start of this whole discussion buddy.....

Quickly reversible that wouldn't be (Going the painting route) And if i dont like Team Tango im 'screwed'.

This way i can swap mats and pull off a decal in seconds. And if i do like it - i still have the option of painting the dash strips, or adding more Orange goodness elswhere later

Orange-rimmed mats with me tomorrow daytime.

Orange high-lighted dash decals being collected after work tomorrow.

Steering wheel with Orange centre-band and Orange stitching in full flow as we speak.........

I am liking the look of that wheel Syer! And the air freshener

The obsession is pretty much in check so far, however if you get a spray tan and go full tango, that will be a line crossed

And who am I to argue with Mrs Syer.... :tearsofjoy:

Just please pray that Pav doesn't see this and inspires him to share his carbon-wrapped mankini selfies....

I've no grand scheme Pav and don't want anything too permanent. Just aiming for a few "highlights" or "splashes" of Orange. If i see something i fancy and will fit-in with my ideas without being too "Team Tango" i'll snag it.....

First its cam-belt , water-pump, de-phaser, aux belt etc Monday. Once thats done - im gonna get a drivers seat as soon as i get round to trying some out. Then suspension perhaps.......
