Sounds about right. For 5 year service, spark plugs, brake fluid, belts and water pump I was quoted over £1,200 and £1,400 by two Renault dealerships. :swear: They then asked if I wanted to book it in! :w00t: I politely declined.

Cost me £102 for spring and £165 to fit it at local Renault dealer, so £267 all in......... Started off at nearer £200 for labour :s I was a bit stuck as MOT runs out tomorrow and car is booked in for 5 year service / belts on Saturday. Needed to get it through MOT to get it to other garage...

Same as what it is costing me, just over a £100 notes for front spring and couple of hundred to fit it. Maybe I should save myself a a few hundred quid and spend £8k px it for a clio 200? :biggrin:

I'd be interested to know the price also as mine will be due beginning of March and if possible based on price would prefer to maintain a full Renault service history (nothing against independents), but just in case anything goes wrong in the future and I need to ask for a goodwill gesture :)

Spark plugs are 36k miles. Don't need doing at 3 years acccording to the service book.

Had this problem tonight on the driver side button, but when I tried the passenger side and the boot they wouldn't lock the car either! Had to use the key card. Tried it 1/2 hour later and working again. If it goes completely will it be expensive to sort?
