my quote was cheaper for parking in the street instead of the drive, bizarrely enough. their logic for this? If a car is parked in the street, the keys could be in any number of houses. If its in a driveway the chances are the keys are in that house. insurance companies work in mysterious ways.

will you use most of a 200pc set? My draper 50 pc has sockets I've never used. Tbh I'd buy a small good socket set containing the popular sockets (10mm to 20mm would be fine for a car) & spend the rest on good quality individual items. just my 2p :-)

Saw one heading south towards stirling off the roundie whilst i was queueing in traffic northbound. Very distinctive nose on the GW200 with the black and white so flicked the lights - anyone on here? Literally a minute later saw another one heading round the roundabout! common as muck...

was that for me roy? you might be right. the best way i could describe it was a noise like one of the wheel nuts was really loose and it was tinking about inside the wheel.

i was (maybe still am) having a slight metallic "tinkling" which i can hear at slow speeds from OSR. One of my wheel arch liner screws had come out during a recent detail (i always get in about it under the arches :) ) and one had come off. Replaced the item today but no idea if this has solved...

hey, thanks for the pics there. it was a bit weird actually, browsing your thread at lunchtime i saw the wee clips that hold on the arch liners and knew i'd seen one recently. when i got home i went to the side of the road outside my house and found the wee plastic clip i'd found at the weekend...
