    I kind of now what you are on about - on the one hand you know a 200 is coming at you but the 197 has a 'softer' face!! Bit of Vinyl wrap is on my list of things to try and smooth out the nose of the 200

    Thats what I'm worried about :panic: What are the most likely issues you see arising from this setup? Although most 197 owners who had the standard non cup suspension setup (prior to the R27 and cup pack being made an option) who have fitted lowering springs seem to be happy with the results.

    Yep, exactly what I was thinking. As you say there are many different ingredients to the suspension setup and altering one may create a positive effect or possibly not!! Many thanks for your technical input.

    Yep!! I was just making a comment that may be wrong or right - As both brands are of the same price you could think that the materials used e.t.c. are very similar so the reason why the H&R's are stiffer is that they are a slightly shorter spring!! :oops: :eek: Probably not the case but hey...

    I was not keen on those wheels in alloy/silver colour either so I had them painted anthracite!! Lowered by 30mm looks about right though.

    I use momentum 99 aswell. Always used to use V power till basically all the local Shell stations were taken over by other brands :(

    Cup Steering Rack on FF200

    I am kind of hoping/wondering whether the lowering springs will aid responsivenes??!! But IMO the ff 200 without a cup pack is not as responsive steering wise as the 200 with the cup pack (However I did go 3 months between driving one to the other....)
