Tried looking down the gap between the colum and the wheel and couldnt find anything? might give it a spray of wd40 ?

Just drove to the local tesco all fine, got back into the car and when i turn the steering wheel it sounds like the cables are twisting behind it ?... searched the forum but had no luck? It sounds as if its coming from directly behind the steering wheel Any one shed any light on this? Matt
