If its the renault retail premier warranty then its of a good standard! Covers practically everything! If not, id dig a bit deeper. As there owned by RRG, i'd of thought it would be?

Phone renault UK, log a complaint against the dealer. Then renault UK have to call the service department and ask there side of the story, as they pretty much admit they are in the wrong, they should come up with some way of compensating you. Petrol, free next service, air filter refunded etc...
